To enter any of LO/UD's Training Programs, you will be required to complete the Success Skills @ Work Program.  There is a $25.00 non-refundable application fee.  WIA eligibility through either Trident's One-Stop or Orangeburg's One-Stop must be determined before entering LO/UD's Training Programs.

 

SOFT SKILLS

The proposed two to three week "short courses" are designed to supplement existing workforce training programs (including manufacturing, small business development, leadership development and healthcare).  These short courses will enhance participants:  1) soft skills,  2) computer literacy skills and   3) financial literacy skills.

LO/UD students will have access to computers with high-speed internet.  Additionally, the Computer Lab will support all of LO/UD's current and proposed training programs.  The short courses in this project can be used as an entry point for new students or can be used by previous course graduates to further enhance their skills and employability.
